The timeless garter-tab triangle is reimagined in Leapman’s shawl. A central eyelet panel offers drape around the shoulders, while the outer stockinette panel lends weight to the piece. What's On Our Needles

Pattern: Philippa by Melissa Leapman

Yarn: Haunui Silk and Rittou by Noro

The balloon sleeves are the fashion statement in this easy-fit sweater. The pattern uses Haunui Silk as the main yarn and incorporates Noro’s new yarn, Rittou, into the slip stitch pattern on the sleeves and tipping around the neckband.

There are several of us who are working on this sweater and it is alot of fun and is going very well! If you would like to join us, stop by soon to get your yarn.

Pattern: Filigree Tunic by Rosemary Drysdale

Yarns: Ohajiki by Noro

Constructed from two rectangles, each knitted in a four-row eyelet pattern, the simple shape traces the shoulders thanks to the supple mesh fabric. Deep side vents complete the look. This would make a great swimsuit cover-up!

Pattern: Drumblebee Socks by Virginia Sattler-Reimer

Yarns: Practically Perfect Sock by Emma's Yarn

This smart looking sock design is hard to put down, it has that “just one more repeat” quality and a lovely fit! Socks are a great summer project - they are small to pack for travel and won't make you hot while you are knitting them.

Pattern: Attabi Scarf by Nina Holubcova

Yarn: Iridescence by Juniper Moon Farm

From Ravelry.com:

The simple woven geometry of tabby cloth is scaled up to add texture to a classic scarf. The Eyelet Woven stitch is made up of an easy-to-remember repeat of knit & purl stitches, yarn over increases and decreases. The scarf starts with a ribbed border that flows seamlessly into the Eyelet Weave stitch. The ribbing is mirrored on the opposite end of the scarf for a symmetric scarf.

Thanks to Cheryl Gilmore for sharing her beautiful scarf with us!

Pattern: Gradient Lights by Laura Dobratz

Yarn: LYS Party Kit by Emma's

From Ravelry.com:

Gradient Lights is a top down triangular shaped shawl. While knitting sections of texture and lace you will gently fade from one color to the next resulting in a stunning transition from light to dark.

This shawl was knit and modeled by our friend Cheryl Gilmore.
