Pattern: Shh! Shawl by Jennifer Weissman

Yarn: Cotton Merino by Juniper Moon Farm

From Ravelry.com:

This shawl starts with a simple garter-stitch triangle. When the triangle is deep enough, leaves begin to grow down the center in a field of stockinette. The shawl finishes with a ribbon of garter stitch with pretty eyelet accents.

Although the pattern calls for aran-weight yarn, you can easily substitute worsted or DK. Just choose an appropriate needle size and repeat the lace rows until you are happy with the dimensions.

The second is wider and shorter for those that don’t love anything close to their necks and don’t need as much warmth but still want to rock a cool cowl.
